Nova Scotians have a long history of offering a safe harbor – it’s part of who we are.

In 2022, Nova Scotians were compelled to take action in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.   Sadly, the evening news continues to bring news of families fleeing wars or natural disaster around the world.   When those families find their way to Nova Scotia, NSRS offers an opportunity for you to provide tangible support. 

If you’d like to be part of a team that builds hope, belonging and community – the NSRS may be right for you. We have volunteer roles to support any interest or schedule. 

If you like to work the front lines, consider volunteering at Nova Horizons on Tuesdays or Saturdays.
