NSRS runs a frugal operation with tight purse strings.  Every dollar donated helps displaced families find hope and belonging in their new community.   

The NS Resettlement Society receives no core funding from government.  Our operating costs are approximately $70,000 each year and revenues are raised through fundraising, donations, program grants, sales and delivery revenue.

The NS Resettlement Society is registered as a non-profit in Nova Scotia and we undertake an annual financial review. 

We are not yet a registered charity, so we do not issue donation tax receipts.
